i tried to take a walk, hoping to find beauty, but i didn't make it out of my yard. ;)

it was e.e. cummings that said "the earth laughs in flowers", he also said "the most wasted of all days is one without laughter" so i wish to surround myself with lots of flowers and although i might not know all of their names, i love them still. i love to take photos of them, to touch them, run through them, paint them, and pick them to bring home with me and then let them dry and tuck them in packages and books for others to find.
"find the seed at the bottom of your heart & bring forth a flower." ~ Shigenoi Kameoka

listening & loving...
Wishing you laughter and flowers each and every day! The photos are lovely - as always!

It seems 'you tried'
and 'you hoped'
and 'you wished'
and 'you thought you might'.........
well, you succeeded in finding beauty but did you share in the laughter?
who or what are you thinking about my love?

You didn't make it out of your yard!? I love that, it has to bring a smile to your heart to know that you have such beauty right in your own yard!

Lovely images & quotes. There is much laughter in my garden this morning where varieties of day lilies are blooming as well as coneflowers, coral bells, roses, butterfly bush, coreopsis, sage, violas and hostas. Do you suppose it sounds like a party to the finches flying about out there?

Extraordinary photos. The fairy house with the hearth-warming is wonderful, and reminds me of a book a blogger friend sent me, Mythago Wood.

I am a theatre director interested in trying my hand at collage/painting -- your two sheets in Stampington's current mag are exactly what I want to learn. Enjoy your site, as well
