I think those rainy days gave you some inspiration..this video is too cute....you muffling your laughter and kevin dancing were my favorite parts....but your kids....little spirits so free and alive. I want to be a kid for a day....just one day....and jump off of dead tree trunks without hurting my myself....

What a lovely video. Here is a suggestion though. Give Kevin the camera so you are in the video too. Your kids will be able to look back on this day and see you in it too. I know I treasure the one movie that my parents are in.
Those are wonderful self portraits.

Wonderful photos! Thank you,
thank you for mentioning the
band "Album Leaf." I had heard
of them briefly a few years ago
and when I wanted to find out
more about them and their music
I TOTALLY forgot their name. So
again, thank you. :o)

Beautiful, of course. I laughed out loud when I saw girl push boy out of the shot when the shadows were dancing on the tree. SO big sisterly of her!!! Boy, that boy is growing!!! He looks so different from when I saw him last!! just grown. Round. Tall. Sweet.
And the smile on your man's face after climbing that wall....priceless!!
All of it is just so precious!

How fortunate that your kids have the opportunity to run freely through the trees.
I am in the smoggy and dry desert of Southern California right now, but in the 1990s my family and I lived in Northwest Arkansas. My whole extended family lives there and my mom and dad were originally from there.
I miss the trees and the smell of wet leaves and fresh rain so deeply that it's an ache. I miss watching my little ones play with rocks and sticks.
Enjoy your time with your family and the lovely nature that is all around you.

what a sweet sweet video and sweet sweet afternoon. bless you and your camera :)
i also love "the album leaf", one of my favorite songs is "shine" have you heard it? My yoga teacher plays them often. As well as sigur ros, mum and olafur arnalds, they sort of go in the same category, if there is one.

Could you please let me know when you will be offering your backgrounds class again? I just heard about it today. Thanks!

the photo of you reflected in the windowpane is a beauty -- there is such an amazing clarity in the reflection.
i felt like i was traipsing through the woods right along with you and your beautiful family -- the shadow dancing against the tree was my favorite part.
i just have to say -- you glow from within:))

ah! So beautiful. The simple fun of being in nature. Such a beautiful job of filming, an art in itself. Thanks for reminding me of my beloved New England , even if this is filmed elsewhere.

oh the latest picture of you is pure so beautiful!!
I am so sorry for your dog:(
How painful to be separated from a pet we've been so long with...it's something that really create a sudden silence in the home I can imagine!
